Ride & Drive Event?
A Clean Air Vehicle Ride & Drive is a hands-on community event hosted by or in partnership with DCAP. These events allow you to test drive electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, helping you explore affordable, environmentally friendly transportation options.
Test Drive Clean Air Vehicles Near You
- At a DCAP Clean Air Vehicle Ride & Drive, you’ll have the opportunity to experience a variety of vehicles, including:
- Battery Electric vehicles (EVs)
- Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles
- Fuel cell vehicles
These events are designed to help you make informed decisions about switching to a cleaner, more cost-effective vehicle.
Requirements for Test Driving
To participate in a test drive at a Clean Air Vehicle Ride & Drive event, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license issued in
California or any U.S. state
Provide your:
- Full name
- Driver’s license information
- Contact and emergency contact details
- Vehicle insurance provider
